We’re now looking for a talented and motivated Chef to join our kitchen team and help bring our menu to life.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Chef who is passionate about food, thrives in a high-energy environment, and takes pride in consistency and presentation. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our guests receive high-quality meals every time they visit.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present dishes in line with TGI Friday’s recipes and standards

• Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation across all service periods

• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment

• Adhere strictly to food safety, sanitation, and workplace health & safety regulations

• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering, receiving, and storage of supplies

• Minimise food wastage and support cost-control initiatives

• Work closely with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service times

• Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff where required

• Contribute ideas for menu improvements and seasonal offerings

Skills & Experience

• Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)

• At least 2–3 years of experience in a busy commercial kitchen

• Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food safety standards, and HACCP principles

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent time management and organisational skills

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Effective communication and teamwork skills

• Availability to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
