The Ohio Industrial Commission (OIC), Office of Medical Services, is seeking an on-site individual with professional customer service skills who must pay attention to detail and produce accurate work product, and who must be able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

What You'll Do:

Under administrative direction, acts for the Human Services Program Administrator 4 (HSPA4) & Medical Advisor (MA)

Coordinates & oversees the comprehensive annual credentialing processes for medical providers & specialists, and reports discrepancies & trend analyses to HSPA4 & MA.

Monitors & verifies active licensure, board certification & malpractice insurance maintenance

Identifies & analyzes medical board actions to ensure providers meet panel status level requirements.

Directly feeds compliance data into the annual review & reapplication workflows to maintain the integrity of the provider network & analyzes panel & individual trends

Spearheads the recruitment & credentialing of out-of-state specialist examiners to ensure geographic & specialty coverage.

Interprets panel performance metrics & survey data & recommends changes & identifies areas of educational needs to HSPA4 & MA.

Synthesizes survey results to identify trends, pain points, & areas for programmatic improvement.

Monitors timeframes & "clarification requirements" to ensure internal workflows meet statutory or departmental deadlines.

Prepares annual review reports for HSPA4 & MA review regarding program efficacy & compliance gaps.

Maintains & manages the medical examination billing system with a focus on historical legal compliance.

Coordinates extensively with the Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC) Self-Insured Department.

Directs the annual implementation of the CPR/AED & First Aid course programs.

Develops & executes the onboarding framework for new panel members.

Coordinates the new panel member orientation program to ensure medical examiners understand state protocols & expectations.

4 yrs. trg. or 4 yrs. exp. in business administration management science or public administration.

-Or completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, management science or public administration; 2 yrs. trg. or 2 yrs. exp. in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position.

-Or completion of undergraduate core program in academic field commensurate with program area to be assigned per approved Position Description on file; 2 yrs. trg. or 2 yrs. exp. in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position or staff position involving planning, research &/or policy/procedure development.

-Or 1 yr. exp. as Program Administrator 1, 63122.

-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above
