The Asset Management Associate is a seasonal role supporting the day-to-day operation of the club’s Media Asset Management (MAM) ecosystem, including logging, ingestion, metadata entry, and asset organization. This role supports content production, communications, and external media partners, while assisting with the implementation and ongoing adoption of the club’s media asset management system.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The Asset Management Associate position will have daily responsibilities including, without limitation, the following:
Ingest, log, and tag video, photo, and related media assets in accordance with established metadata standards and workflows.
Support real-time and post-game logging to ensure content is available quickly for editing, review, and distribution.
Assist with the implementation and ongoing operation of the club’s media asset management system (Iconik), including asset organization, metadata accuracy, and quality control.
Support retroactive ingestion and tagging of legacy media assets to improve searchability and long-term usability.
Coordinate with Content, Marketing, and Communications teams to ensure timely access to approved assets.
Assist with asset preparation and distribution for internal teams and approved external partners, including broadcast networks and media outlets
Maintain accurate documentation and follow established data governance, security, and confidentiality standards
Provide support during peak periods including game days, post-game coverage, and high-visibility events
NONESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assist with special projects related to archive organization, historical asset clean-up, or system optimization
Support Football Communications and other departments with historical asset requests as needed
Participate in testing, training, or rollout activities related to new tools or workflows
Will accept other responsibilities and duties required by the supervisor consistent with the objectives and essential functions of this position

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Video Production, Communications or related field required.
Previous experience in media logging, asset management, content operations, or a related role required. Experience working in Sports and Entertainment preferred
General understanding of NFL rules, teams, players, and culture required
Familiarity with video formats, media file structures, and basic post-production workflows
Experience with media asset management systems (e.g., Iconik, Dalet, CatDV, or similar) a plus
Basic proficiency in Adobe Premiere, Adobe Media Encoder, and Catalyst Browse strongly preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow metadata standards consistently
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work independently in time-sensitive environments
Comfortable troubleshooting basic technical or IT-related issues
Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality when communicating with internal and external contacts
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, overnight hours, weekends, holidays, and game days
May require work out of both the Ford Field Management Office and the Allen Park Training Facility
Valid Driver’s License and good driving record
