Chief Financial Controller

Top Workforce Solutions is seeking a Chief Financial Controller (CFC) in Forrest County, MS (Onsite). This is a fully office-based position with minimal travel required.

Compensation: $150,000–$175,000 + excellent benefits

This role serves as the senior finance leader at the entity level, responsible for financial governance, reporting integrity, and strategic partnership with Operations. The CFC ensures compliance with U.S. GAAP while promoting accountability, transparency, and decentralized decision-making across Business Units.

Key Responsibilities:

· Serve as the senior financial leader for the entity, supporting executive leadership and Management Teams

· Act as a strategic advisor to General Managers and Controllers on financial performance and operational decisions

· Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes

· Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP

· Prepare and present consolidated financial results to corporate leadership and stakeholders

· Review and validate level financial statements, forecasts, and performance analyses

· Mentor and develop Controllers, enhancing their effectiveness as finance business partners

· Strengthen forecasting accuracy, variance analysis, and financial insights across BUs

· Participate in executive-level performance reviews and strategic discussions

· Drive working capital optimization and cash flow discipline across the entity

· Support project-based financial oversight, including margin analysis and cost control

· Identify financial risks proactively and ensure timely escalation and resolution

· Lead budgeting, forecasting, and medium- to long-term financial planning processes

· Lead, coach, and develop the finance leadership team, including Corporate and Controllers

· Support succession planning, talent development, and retention strategies

· Coordinate external audits and internal financial reviews

· Serve as the primary liaison with auditors and regulatory bodies

· Ensure compliance with all applicable financial, tax, and statutory requirements

· Maintain and strengthen internal controls and financial governance frameworks

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

· 10+ years of progressive experience in senior financial leadership roles

· Experience within project-based industries (e.g., construction, engineering, infrastructure, industrial services)

· Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards

Preferred CPA and/or MBA

· ERP system experience within project-driven environments
