Title: Cafeteria Worker

Qualifications: 1. High School Education

2. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable

Reports To: Cafeteria Manager

Job Goal: To serve the students attractive and nutritious meals in an atmosphere of efficiency, cleanliness, and

friendliness.

Performance Responsibilities

Assists in the preparation of food portions and prepares cafeteria serving lines.

Serves student and staff from the cafeteria serving lines.

Removes used trays and assists in the cleaning of serving lines, and furnishings in the dining area.

Maintains the trash and garbage collection area in a neat and sanitary fashion.

Performs related duties as required; including duties at special meal functions.

Terms of Employment: Salary and work year will be established by the Board.

Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy

on Evaluation of Support Services Personnel.
