This part-time contract role offers an engaging opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team, providing occupational therapy services across two locations throughout the week.
Both OTs and COTAs are encouraged to apply—with supervisory support available for COTAs.
Qualifications and Experience:Valid Louisiana OT or COTA license is required.Previous experience with pediatric populations, ideally in early intervention or school settings, highly preferred.Strong communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.Ability to travel between two service areas within the week.Commitment to evidence-based practice and individualized intervention planning.
Key Responsibilities:Conduct evaluations and therapeutic interventions for preschool-aged students, focusing on developmentally appropriate skills.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with teachers, families, and other related service providers.Maintain accurate and timely documentation to support student progress and compliance with state and district guidelines.Participate in team meetings, providing insights to support holistic student growth and develop best practices.For COTAs: work under provided supervision and collaborate closely with supervising OTs to ensure the highest quality of care.
This school-based contract role is designed for those seeking a flexible, part-time schedule—working approximately 4 hours a day, 4 days per week during the school year.
