Job Details:
• Work weekend shifts Friday through Sunday from 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM
• Block scheduling with 1:1 patient ratios
• Position covers both CT and general X-ray departments
• Work alone for half of shift with backup employee on call as needed
• No floating between units or on-call requirements
• 36 hours of orientation required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• X-ray experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Required certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS
• Must have vehicle for assignment
• Required skills include 3D rendering, various contrast studies, IV starts, PACS, radiation safety
• Cover emergency room, urgent care referrals, and inpatient cases with variety of diagnoses
• Work with patients of all age groups: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Equipment includes 2 GE CT units, contrast injectors, portable X-ray units, C-arms, and Phillips general X-ray rooms
• Any scrub color acceptable
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays
• May be expected to float to sister facilities nearby
Facility:
This healthcare facility is a 60-bed short-term acute care hospital and Level IV Trauma Center. The organization provides comprehensive emergency services, operating room capabilities, and inpatient care with interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, radiology, and rapid response teams. The facility utilizes Epic charting system and PACS technology, maintaining modern equipment to support diverse diagnostic imaging needs across multiple departments.
