Job Details:
• Work 12-hour shifts with call requirements of 4-6 shifts per month on off days
• Provide 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratios depending on patient stability
• Perform CT scans, MRI, body scans, and X-rays
• Create detailed pictures of bones, organs, and tissues to combine for accurate assessment
• Work with ALL GE equipment including MRI units, scanners, cameras, x-ray, and fluoroscopy systems
• Use Meditech EMR system for documentation
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and diverse medical teams
• Must have ARRT (CT) certification, BLS certification, and valid Florida State DOH License
• Strongly prefer experience with GE equipment and Meditech system
• Black scrubs required (must provide your own)
• Need strong communication skills, medical and anatomical knowledge, and mechanical aptitude
• Must demonstrate ability to multi-task and work effectively with variety of medical professionals and patients
Facility:
This 472-bed acute care medical and surgical facility operates as a comprehensive healthcare complex specializing in cardiovascular care, neuroscience, oncology services, orthopedics, bariatrics, and women's services. The facility serves as a teaching hospital and ranks among the best in the nation, maintaining high standards for patient care and medical education. The radiology department operates with a team of 14 staff members including radiologists, ultrasound techs, MRI techs, and CT techs, utilizing state-of-the-art GE equipment throughout all imaging services.
