Sous Chef

On behalf of our client, a premier fine dining restaurant located in the coastal city of Limassol, we are seeking an experienced culinary professional to join their kitchen leadership team. The establishment is highly regarded for its upscale atmosphere and its creative fusion of Mediterranean and Asian cuisines. Operating year-round, the restaurant offers an exceptional gastronomic experience centered on culinary excellence and high-end standards.

We are currently looking for a skilled Sous Chef to step into a kitchen leadership role immediately.

Key Responsibilities

Kitchen Leadership: Assist the Head Chef in supervising daily kitchen operations, maintaining top-tier culinary standards, and fostering a collaborative team environment.

Menu Execution: Ensure flawless execution of the restaurant's creative Mediterranean-Asian fusion menu.

Quality Control: Maintain strict standards for food presentation, portion control, and ingredient quality.

Staff Management: Assist in guiding, training, and managing the kitchen brigade.

Compliance: Ensure the highest level of kitchen hygiene, safety, and sanitation practices are met at all times.

Requirements & Qualifications

Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Junior Sous Chef in a fine dining or high-end restaurant setting.

Solid expertise or strong familiarity with Mediterranean and/or Asian culinary techniques and flavor profiles.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills under pressure.

Ability to work effectively in a multicultural kitchen environment.

Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Greek is not mandatory.

Commitment to a year-round, long-term contract.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: €3,500 gross per month.

Tips: Additional tips are included for this position.

Meals: Duty meals are fully provided by the employer with zero deductions from your salary.
