POSITION SUMMARY

Vertiv is looking for a detail-oriented and technically savvy Logistics Planner to join their team in Westerville, Ohio. This role is critical in coordinating and monitoring production and logistics schedules across multiple manufacturing sites within the Canada organization. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with advanced planning and scheduling tools such as Oracle Alice, Cyberplan, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and driving operational excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage the production schedule to optimize logistics schedules using Oracle Alice, Cyberplan to meet customer delivery requirements.

Coordinate logistics activities across multiple sites within America`s region, ensuring seamless material flow and timely production execution.

Monitor production progress and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts or delays, leveraging real-time data and analytics.

Update schedules dynamically reflect changes in capacity, material availability, and customer priorities.

Implement corrective actions to mitigate risks and ensure on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery performance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams across time zones to align production plans with supply chain and customer service objectives (Logistics, Sales, Planning, Procurement).

Analyze production and logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for continuous improvement.

Support and drive strategic initiatives from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Facilitate strategic meetings and contribute to problem-solving and process improvement discussions.

Promote a culture of continuous improvement, standardization, and best practice sharing across the organization.

Track and report progress on key initiatives, addressing issues and ensuring timely completion.

Perform other duties as assigned by the direct manager, ensuring support of broader operational goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).

3+ years of experience in logistics scheduling or supply chain coordination.

Hands-on experience with advanced planning and scheduling tools (Oracle Alice, Cyberplan, E2Open preferred).

Strong data orientation and analytical skills.

Proficiency in ERP/TMS systems and MS Office Suite.

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.

Familiarity with Canada logistics operations and regulations.

APICS CSCP or similar supply chain certification.

TIME TRAVEL REQUIRED

Occasional travel to other manufacturing sites within the Canada organization may be required up to 5% or less
