Warehouse Driver

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver/ Warehouse personnel to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting material/ equipment efficiently and safely to various locations using communication with sub-contractors. This role requires strong driving skills, the ability to handle heavy lifting, and a commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards on the road.

Duties

Operate trucks to deliver goods to designated locations in a timely manner.

Perform routine inspections of the vehicle before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.

Load and unload material and equipment, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transport.

Communicate effectively with subcontractors and team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.

Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving on assigned routes.

Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.

Skills

Proven experience as a Driver or in a similar role such as Delivery Driver or Courier.

Strong driving skills.

Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo.

Familiarity with route driving and navigating various road conditions efficiently.

Excellent communication skills to interact positively with builders, and subcontractors during deliveries.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols while on the road.
