Mover - Driver Team Lead

Job Description

Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour (Experience-based)

The Opportunity

Affordable Movers is growing, and we need reliable Team Leads who can take charge. This isn't just a driving job—it’s a leadership role. You’ll be the captain of the truck and the face of our company, ensuring that every residential and commercial move in the Columbus area is handled with precision and care.

What You’ll Do

The Drive: Safely navigate 17ft–26ft box trucks to various job sites.

The Lead: Coordinate a 2-3 person crew, ensuring the team stays on schedule and works efficiently.

The Muscle: This is a "player-coach" role. You’ll work alongside your crew to wrap, load, and unload furniture and household goods.

The Service: Be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing professional service and a "can-do" attitude.

What You Need

The Basics: A valid driver’s license and a DOT Medical Card (Required).

Experience: Previous experience operating 17ft–26ft box trucks is preferred.

Stamina: Ability to handle physical work and heavy lifting throughout the day.

Reliability: You are the person the team counts on. You have a solid work ethic and a way to get to work every day.
