10:30 PM – 7:00 AM

A respected community healthcare organization in Illinois is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join its Diagnostic Imaging team for a full-time night shift position. This role is responsible for performing both X-ray and CT imaging procedures while ensuring exceptional patient care, safety, and diagnostic accuracy.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent patient communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment.Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic X-ray and CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols

Produce high-quality diagnostic images for accurate interpretation

Deliver safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care

Follow radiation safety standards and imaging compliance protocols

Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to established guidelines

Verify patient identification and explain imaging procedures clearly

Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records

Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff to support quality patient care

Ensure adherence to infection control and patient safety standardsRequired QualificationsEducation

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology programLicensure & Certifications

Current Illinois Radiologic Technologist license required

ARRT (R) certification required

Current BLS/CPR certification requiredExperience

Minimum 1 year of Radiologic Technology experience preferred

CT imaging experience required due to dual-modality responsibilitiesPreferred Skills

Strong attention to detail and patient care skills

Ability to work independently during overnight shifts

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Knowledge of imaging safety standards and quality assurance practices
