Maintenance Technician
Pay: $22.00 – $29.00/hour (based on experience)
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support daily operations by performing routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance on industrial equipment, machinery, and facility systems. This role is critical to ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and maintaining a safe, efficient production environment.Key Responsibilities
Perform routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance on industrial equipment, machinery, and facility systems
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and HVAC-related issues using proper diagnostic tools and methods
Conduct both preventive and reactive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately diagnose and resolve issues
Utilize electrical metering devices and diagnostic equipment to test and verify system functionality
Complete mechanical repairs, adjustments, and component replacements as needed
Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work performed, parts used, and labor time
Document maintenance activity in logs or maintenance systems for tracking and future reference
Assist in developing and maintaining preventive maintenance schedules
Support equipment installations, upgrades, and facility improvements
Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environmentRequired Qualifications
2+ years of industrial maintenance or related experience
Strong troubleshooting skills with industrial machinery and equipment
Experience with both preventive and reactive maintenance programs
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Hands-on experience with electrical troubleshooting and repair
Mechanical aptitude with experience working on mechanical systems
Proficiency using diagnostic tools, including electrical meters
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environmentPreferred Qualifications
Experience with HVAC systems
Advanced electrical knowledge beyond basic troubleshooting
Experience supporting facility upgrades and equipment installations
