Role Description We are seeking a full-time Executive Chef/Culinary Director for an on-site role located in the Santa Barbara area.

This role involves overseeing daily kitchen operations, leading and mentoring culinary staff, and developing creative menus to align with organizational goals.

Responsibilities include maintaining food quality and presentation, ensuring kitchen compliance with health and safety standards, managing inventory and budgets, and collaborating with team members to enhance guest satisfaction.

QualificationsExtensive expertise in menu development, food preparation, and culinary techniquesSkills in staff leadership, team collaboration, and trainingExperience managing kitchen operations, inventory, and supplier relationshipsKnowledge of food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and compliance protocolsExceptional organizational, time management, and budgeting abilitiesStrong communication skills and attention to detailA degree in culinary arts, hospitality management, or equivalent work experience preferredPrevious experience in a leadership culinary role such as Executive Chef or Culinary Director
