Augustine, Florida for the upcoming school year.

This assignment will cover a maternity leave from August 10, 2026 through October 30, 2026, with the potential for contract extension based on district needs and performance.

Position Overview: Full-time, school-based contract role Location: St.

Augustine, Florida Assignment dates: August 10, 2026 – October 30, 2026 Maternity leave coverage with potential extension Requirements: Active Florida Department of Health (FL DOH) Occupational Therapist license Compliance with all Florida state and local district requirements Successful completion of background check and fingerprinting Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program School-based experience is highly preferred, but not required Typical Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy services to students in individual and group settings Evaluate students’ functional abilities and develop appropriate intervention plans Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals related to occupational therapy services Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning Recommend adaptive equipment and classroom accommodations as needed Blazer Jobs Benefits: Weekly direct deposit Health care benefit options 401(k) with employer match Tuition reimbursement opportunities Additional traditional employee benefits Ongoing professional support This district may offer renewal opportunities based on performance during the contract.
