The selected candidate will play a critical role in promoting student success by providing behavioral, academic, and transitional support throughout the school day.

Position Responsibilities: Provide direct 1:1 behavioral and academic support to a middle school studentAssist with behavior management, de-escalation techniques, and redirection strategiesSupport safe transitions throughout the school day and proactively prevent elopementImplement individualized behavior intervention plans under school guidanceCollaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and behavioral support teamsMaintain a calm, professional, and consistent presence in challenging situationsDocument daily behaviors, interventions, and student progress as requiredQualifications: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Paraprofessional, Behavior Aide, or similar rolePrior experience working with students demonstrating challenging behaviors strongly preferredStrong behavior management, redirection, and crisis prevention skillsAbility to remain composed and effective during escalated situationsReliable attendance, punctuality, and commitment to the full assignment durationPosition Details: Location: Schedule: Full-TimeAssignment Length: Long-term, through the full school yearWhy Join This Opportunity?
