Qualifications & Experience:Valid Florida COTA license requiredAt least one year of experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferredProven ability to adapt to various educational environments and manage a flexible scheduleStrong collaboration skills for working with OTs, educators, and support staffReliable transportation and willingness to commute throughout Hendry County Key Responsibilities:Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to K–12 students, following individualized educational plans (IEPs)Collaborate closely with Occupational Therapists to implement treatment activities and document student progressDevelop creative interventions that support student participation, motor function, self-care, and classroom engagementMaintain thorough and timely clinical and educational records for all assigned studentsCommunicate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student successTravel between multiple schools as assigned and attend meetings as needed This role offers the opportunity to experience diverse school environments and broaden your impact in the county.
