Description:

Why Join Us?

You’ll work on cutting-edge robotic systems where your expertise in kinematics and motion control directly shapes product performance and innovation. This is an opportunity to contribute to highly technical, real-world robotic applications in a collaborative engineering environment focused on precision, reliability, and advanced system design.

This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives at the intersection of robotics, controls, embedded systems, and real-world motion dynamics. You will own the design and performance of sophisticated 1–6 degree-of-freedom robotic systems, working across actuator systems, motion control firmware, servo tuning, trajectory planning, and closed-loop control architectures.

If you are passionate about robotics, precision motion, and solving complex kinematic challenges, this is an opportunity to make a significant technical impact.

Key Responsibilities

Robotic Motion & Kinematics Development

Design, develop, and optimize 1–6DOF robotic systems with a strong focus on rotational motion and articulated mechanisms

Develop and tune: Forward and inverse kinematics, Trajectory generation and motion planning, Servo loops and closed-loop motion control, Calibration and dynamic system compensation

Analyze robotic motion performance, accuracy, repeatability, and stability across complex movement profiles

Embedded Controls & System Architecture

Architect and maintain robotic, electrical, and control systems end-to-end, including: Motion controllers, Servo drives, Actuators, Encoders and feedback systems, Sensors and instrumentation

Develop, debug, and maintain embedded firmware for motion control platforms using C/C++

Collaborate with external PCB and electronics manufacturing partners on schematic reviews and custom PCBA development

Cross-Functional Engineering & Production Support

Partner with mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams throughout the product lifecycle

Develop test fixtures, calibration procedures, and diagnostic tools

Create and maintain ISO-compliant engineering and manufacturing documentation

Manage electrical subsystem lifecycle support, including BOM obsolescence and hardware refresh initiatives

Required Qualifications

BS or MS in Robotics Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field
