Extruder Operators

We are seeking Extruder Operators to operate our siding and accessory extrusion lines. You will be responsible for the end-to-end production process, ensuring maximum output and quality while maintaining strict safety and VSI certification standards.

Willing to train mechanically inclined candidates who have related backgrounds such as mechanics.

12 hours DAY or NIGHT Shifts available.

Starting Pay Rates $23-28/hr.

$1,000 Sign on bonus!

Key Responsibilities

Line Management: Lead set-ups, teardowns, and die changes; monitor and troubleshoot lines to ensure continuous, low-cost production.

Quality Control: Conduct real-time inspections using micrometers and precision rules to meet VSI standards.

Operational Support: Oversee packaging equipment and assist/lead assigned line personnel.

Reporting: Maintain accurate production records, including scrap rates, downtime, and output volumes.

Safety & Maintenance: Adhere to all safety protocols (PPE required) and maintain a clean, efficient work area.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years of hands-on extrusion experience in a manufacturing environment.

Technical: Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and manual tools.

Communication: Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking) with strong interpersonal skills.

Problem Solving: Strong basic math skills and a talent for mechanical troubleshooting.

Physical Ability: Must be able to stand/walk for full shifts, navigate two facilities, and frequently lift/move up to 100 lbs.

Work Environment

Fast-Paced: High-volume manufacturing facility with noise levels requiring constant ear/eye protection.

Requirements: Steel-toed shoes and long pants are mandatory.Company Description
