The Torok research team serves as the National Registry for Childhood Onset Scleroderma biorepository and the CARRA SCORE (18 center) coordinating research site for pediatric scleroderma. This involves the collection of detailed de-identified clinical data alongside biological samples and collaborations with other institutions (approximately 15 active studies) for translational science. This warrants a clinical research assistant for my lead clinical research coordinator in order to stay on task with these numerous studies and large amount of data entry. This position is located at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh in Lawrenceville. PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and FBI Criminal Record Check will be required prior to the start of employment. Basic computer skills with Excel, Word, etc. Organizational skills are key. Basic medical knowledge is preferred.
