Senior Cloud Engineer Consultant/Principal Cloud Engineer (Government & Compliance)

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring a Senior Cloud Engineer Consultant/Principal Cloud Engineer (Government & Compliance) for our premier client in Columbus, Ohio.

Knowledge and Skills:

Monitor cloud resource utilization, performance metrics, and cost allocation; develop and enforce FinOps practices to optimize state expenditures.

Manage cloud-native DevOps pipelines, CI/CD toolchains, containerized workloads (Docker/Kubernetes), and API gateway integrations.

Cybersecurity and Vulnerability management for cloud-based resources and external to internal modalities.

Architect, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments across Azure, AWS, GCP, and other SaaS/PaaS platforms.

Administer cloud services including compute, storage, networking, identity and access management (IAM), firewall, certificate, cryptographic, serverless functions, managed databases, and other services as needed.

Multi Cloud Architecture (Azure, AWS, GCP)

Cloud Security & Compliance (NIST, FedRAMP, Zero Trust)

Hybrid Connectivity (VPN, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, SD?WAN)

Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation)

Containerization & Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

CI/CD & DevOps Pipelines

Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity Planning

Cloud Cost Management & FinOps

Identity & Access Management (Azure AD/Entra ID, AWS IAM)

Network Fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, Firewalls, Load Balancing).
