Job Title: IVR Speech Scientist / Speech Recognition Engineer

Location: Alpharetta, GA 30005 (Onsite 3 days/week) or Remote flexibility may be considered for highly qualified candidates

Duration: 6–12+ Months (Possible Extension)

Rate: $Market/Hour

Job Description

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with speech recognition and IVR technologies.

• Strong experience with Nuance speech platforms and grammar development.

• Experience with speech tuning, natural language recognition, and conversational IVR systems.

• Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Perl, JavaScript, or ECMAScript.

• Experience working in Linux and Windows environments.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

• Ability to interact directly with clients and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Genesys GVP or similar IVR platforms.

• Familiarity with speech/audio tools such as SoX and Audacity.

• Experience with Nuance Dragon Voice, Nuance Speech Suite, and Nuance Speech Server.

• Understanding call center technologies and customer experience platforms.

• Exposure to cloud-based conversational AI or voice automation solutions is a plus
