They are looking to bring more structure to their HR structure as they continue to grow.
Job Description
The HR Manager will bring more structure and consistency to HR as the team continues to grow.
Create, update, and maintain job descriptions, Post open positions, coordinate recruiting activity, screen candidates, and schedule interviews
Support employee recruitment efforts, including sourcing, applicant tracking, interview coordination, and candidate communication
Coordinate offer letters, pre-employment requirements, background checks, reference checks, and related documentation
Coordinate and document new-hire onboarding, orientation, required forms, and system access needs
Coordinate payroll activities and serve as a primary internal point of contact for payroll-related questions
Maintain accurate employee records, including compensation, tax forms, payroll changes, benefits, personal leave balances, and performance documentation
Assist with employee benefits administration
Work with managers to coordinate performance review cycles, reminders, documentation, and employee follow-up. Support managers in preparing clear, consistent, and professional performance documentation
Assist with employee relations matters by helping document issues, track follow-up, and promote consistent application of company policies
Maintain the employee manual and company HR policies in coordination with senior leadership
Assist with HR compliance documentation, required postings, employee notices, and policy acknowledgments
Support development and maintenance of salary bands, position levels, compensation ranges, and role consistency across departments. Conduct market compensation review as needed to support competitive and consistent pay practices
Serve as a primary point of contact for day-to-day HR questions from employees and managers
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in a HR Management
Ability to work on site in Columbus, OH on a hybrid schedule (30 - 60 days training all on site to start)
Experience with iSolved, HR Butler, or similar HR/payroll platforms preferred
Alignment on compensation package (salary band $60,000 - $70,000)
