Schedule: 3x12 weekend night shifts (Friday/Saturday + one additional day), 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (36 hours/week)

Highlights:

Float across multiple critical care units including Neuro ICU, CVICU, SICU, MICU, and Surgical ICUs based on patient acuity and staffing needs

Work with a large academic medical center with 900+ daily census and robust interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams

36-hour paid orientation to support your transition into the float pool role

2:1 patient ratios across all shifts with EPIC charting system

Exposure to complex patient populations including transplant patients (kidney, liver, lung, heart) and advanced critical care procedures

Weekend schedule offers flexibility with one additional weekday shift

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required

Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (required)

Proficiency with EPIC EMR system

Demonstrated competency in IV starts, telemetry interpretation, and ventilator management

Valid RN license (Compact or Ohio state license in hand at time of application)

Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program

Travel nursing experience preferred

Skills in arterial line management, central line care, vasoactive drip titration, external ventricular drains, and critical care procedures strongly preferred

2 professional references required (at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor)
