Building Construction Instructor

High School Diploma/GED

Minimum of 4 years of work experience required.

Hands-on work experience as a residential or commercial carpenter.

Company owner/manager experience only and/or a Commercial Builders License do not meet the industry work experience requirement for this area of certification.

Cabinetry/roofing/framing alone does not qualify.

*Complete NCCER Commercial Carpenter Exam.

*All trade exams/certifications must complete by June 30th of second teaching year.
