POSITION SUMMARY:
The Raw Material Coordinator will assist the RD team in a variety of functions related to sourcing and ordering raw materials.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Raw Materials Coordinator responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Sourcing the Raw Materials.
Ordering Raw materials by second day UPS.
Process and track raw material’s requests in the timely manner.
Maintain incoming raw material’s log.
Develop and maintain relationship with vendors.
Obtain pricing information, lead time, MOQ.
Request all necessary Regulatory information for raw materials including technical data.
Forward all the regulatory info to the Regulatory Department.
Enter and update into COPTIS information related to raw material cost, including MOQ, lead times, etc.
Receive and distribute raw materials.
Put away incoming raw materials samples.
Maintain the raw material’s library.
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or Associate Degree required.
Exceptional attention to details.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to multitask, follow-up, prioritize and manage time effectively.
Willingness to follow directions and learn new skills.
Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer knowledge.
Ability to deal with all levels of internal and external personnel in professional manner.

Typical Working Environment: Work will be primarily in a temperature-controlled area. On occasion, time will be spent in the production area, requiring the wearing of safety equipment and dealing with constant equipment in motion and high noise levels.

Communication Equipment: Landline Phone.
Essential Physical Tasks:
Moderate walking, stooping and bending.
Sitting for prolonged periods of time.
Light lifting and carrying (up to 25 pounds).
Vision abilities include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.
