ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly capable Digital & Creative Operations Assistant to serve as a trusted partner to the founder of a boutique social media consultancy operating at the intersection of fashion, beauty, and lifestyle. This role is for someone who operates with intention. You bring creative instincts and operational precision in equal measure — equally at home crafting copy that captures a brand's voice as you are managing a dynamic calendar or coordinating a production shoot. You don't wait for direction; you anticipate needs, take initiative, and deliver. JOB DESCRIPTION

Social Media & Content

Video Editing & Short-Form Content: Edit and produce short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Able to shoot on iPhone, bring creative ideas to set, and adapt quickly in real time

Copywriting & Brand Voice: Write compelling, platform-specific copy across social channels that is intentional, human and distinct. Capable of distinguishing and maintaining multiple brand voices and personalities with strong grammar and attention to detail

Research & Strategy: Monitor competitor activity, trending content, and shifts across the social landscape to surface actionable insights. Proactively bring fresh ideas and strategic thinking to the table without being asked

Administrative & Executive Support

Calendar & Scheduling: Manage a dynamic calendar across multiple time zones, ensuring daily appointments are confirmed, updated, and prepared with the necessary context

Communication: Handle professional written and verbal communication with clients, talent, vendors, and partners — from first outreach to ongoing correspondence — with impeccable etiquette and discretion. Draft emails, manage follow-ups, and serve as a trusted, confidential point of contact on behalf of the founder

Operations & Organization: Pull reports, compile data, and navigate Excel, Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Word with ease; support expense tracking and vendor coordination. Maintain strict organization digitally and physically, handle sensitive information with discretion, and keep operations running smoothly with minimal oversight

Brand Partnerships & Production

Shoot Coordination: Facilitate photo/video shoots end to end. Able to shoot on iPhone, think quickly on set, and adapt

Product & Sample Management: Coordinate incoming and outgoing product, including sample tracking, post-office drop-offs, and timely returns. Keep all physical and digital assets organized and accounted for post-shoot with zero loose ends

Campaign & Partnership Support: Assist in facilitating brand partner relationships, tracking campaigns, compiling reports, and managing product send-outs. Support the founder in executing deliverables on time and maintaining a high standard of professionalism with every partner

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Prior experience in social media, communications, marketing, or a related field — internships and school projects count

Genuine interest in fashion, beauty, and lifestyle — you follow this space because you love it, not just because it's the job

An eye for aesthetics and an ability to analyze what makes content perform

Deeply organized, reliable, and able to juggle competing priorities without dropping the ball

Proactive and resourceful — you identify what needs to happen and you make it happen

Comfortable working with ambiguity and operating in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

Able to execute with minimal supervision and without needing to be micromanaged

Remains composed under pressure while delivering outstanding support that frees the founder to focus on strategy

Strong people skills — you interact professionally across all levels: founder, clients, interns, and vendors alike

Willing to occasionally support outside of standard business hours when needed (Events, Fashion Week, etc)

TECHNICAL SKILLS & PLATFORM FLUENCY

Proficient in: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn

Proficient in: Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs, Google Sheets

Comfortable with virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.)

Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar)

Willingness to learn new tools, platforms, and workflows as the landscape evolves
