Receptionist

Location: Columbus, OH

Position Summary

The Receptionist will greet, assist, and provide direction and information to internal and external stakeholders, along with guest of the organization. They will work to ensure that the day-to-day operations of the offices run smoothly. They are a dedicated professional for a 5-day-a-week, on-site support and presence to support the office environment.

Pay: $20 hourly

Responsibilities

The Receptionist will perform duties including, but not limited to:

Perform all work in a manner consistent with the National Youth Advocate Program’s mission, values, and philosophies.

Perform office duties including filing, copying, typing, and answering phones.

Operate multi-line switchboard console and tour telephone calls to the appropriate person, takes messages when needed.

Maintain the schedule for corporate conference rooms and visitors at the corporate office.

Prepare the offices and conference rooms for scheduled meetings. This may include ordering supplies and food.

Orders and maintains inventory of office supplies.

Greets guests, vendors and other visitors, and assure that they are directed to the proper person/area.

Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and distributes items.

Perform in-person or remote online notarizations.

Assists the Human Resources team with overflow work and special projects.

Performs other duties as requested.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Previous experience organizing and maintaining an office.

Posses a valid, current state-issued Notary Public commission, or obtain within 90 days.

Previous experience and proficiency in the use of various office machines, including computers.

Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smart phones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.

Driving and Vehicle Requirements

Valid driver’s license

Reliable personal transportation

Minimum automobile insurance coverage of $100,00/$300,000 bodily injury liability
