Accounting Manager

Our client is a private company poised for significant expansion. An excellent, newly created position has arisen for a motivated CPA to assume a hands on Accounting Manager position. This company has many profit centers in the US and is continuing on an acquisitions agenda. Our client is looking for a person that can be very hands on but also capable of supervising 3 accounting clerks. You will report to the Owner and to an Operations Manager who resides in the US. This position will require that you have a demonstrated knowledge of accounting and finance as you will be responsible for the accurate and timely reporting for the profit centers. You will also prepare various reports, work on some tax planning, coordinate budgeting and cash flows, liaise with lawyers and outside auditors and act as a key financial resource to the Owner and Operations Manager. Most importantly in this position, though, you would be very involved in assisting the company with continuing to enhance their computer systems. It is necessary that you be very comfortable in a computerized/systems environment and enjoy being the “resident expert” in continuing to enhance and develop their software. The compensation level is flexible depending on the successful candidate.
