Job description*:

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain IBM Cognos Analytics. ( 11.x,12.x)

• Administer Cognos environments DEV, QA, UAT, PROD.

• Manage Cognos components: Gateway, Dispatcher, Content Manager, Report Services.

• Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and perform performance tuning.

• Handle user access, roles, security, and LDAP/Active Directory integration.

• Manage report/package deployments and environment migrations.

• Support scheduling, batch jobs, and report failures.

• Coordinate with infrastructure, DB, and ETL teams for issue resolution.

• Maintain backups, recovery procedures, and administrative documentation.

• Strong hands-on experience with IBM Cognos Administration.

• Knowledge of Linux/Unix or Windows environments.

• Working knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, DB2 databases.

• Experience in production support and troubleshooting.
