CDL A Flatbed Company Driver

Job Description

The Flatbed Company Driver is responsible for safely transporting mixed load types over long distances, often including regular overnight trips. Operating independently, the driver ensures the secure and timely delivery of cargo while maintaining vehicle integrity and compliance with regulations. The role requires proficiency with electronic logging devices and standard trucking cab equipment to facilitate efficient travel and communication.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough vehicle inspections before and after trips

Secure cargo appropriately to prevent damage during transit

Communicate effectively with clients regarding delivery status

Maintain accurate logbooks using electronic logging devices (ELD)

Conduct routine vehicle maintenance to ensure safety and reliability

DRIVER REQUIREMENTS

Valid Class A CDL

2+ years of driving experience

Must be 25 years of age or older

Clean driving record - no accident in the last 2-3 years

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

PAY: $0.75 - $0.85 CPM based on experience and tenure with company

Driver can expect to earn between $95,000 to $120,000 depending on the lanes
