Assistant Controller

Job Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented accounting professional to join our team and work directly with our Controller. This is a great opportunity for someone with a few years of bookkeeping experience who's ready to take on more responsibility and develop their skills across all aspects of accounting operations. You'll get hands-on experience with the full accounting cycle in a supportive environment where your work directly impacts the business.

What You'll Do:

Manage day-to-day accounting operations using QuickBooks Enterprise/Desktop

Work closely with our Controller on accounts payable/receivable and reconciliations

Support month-end close processes and financial reporting

Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

Take on expanding responsibilities as you grow in the role

Help streamline and improve our accounting processes

What We're Looking For:

3-5 years of hands-on experience with accounts payable/receivable and reconciliations using QuickBooks Enterprise/Desktop

Bachelor's degree in accounting

Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Enterprise/Desktop

Comfortable with Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Self-motivated and able to work independently

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Professional communication abilities
