Tex Sand Transport specializes in the transportation of dry-bulk commodities — salt, lime, cement, barite, sand and fly ash. We operate a 100% Owner Operator fleet built on consistent volume, secured rates, and long-term stability. No slow seasons. No chasing freight.

We recently secured major long-term contracts and are actively onboarding 35+ Pneumatic trucks, and 30+ Bottom Drop. Immediate openings available. Don't have a truck? A limited number of opportunities exist to match qualified drivers with an existing Owner Operator in our fleet.

COMPENSATION & PAY STRUCTURE

Starting Rate: 82% of gross load revenue — that's 82% of what the customer pays TST

Fuel Surcharge: 100% of the fuel surcharge allowed by our customers

EFS Fuel Card: No charge to use our EFS fuel card

Weekly Pay: Consistent, reliable weekly settlements

Plate Program: Apportioned Plate Program available at $40/week

Insurance Options: Physical Damage Insurance at $1.00 per $1,000 of truck value per week (ex: $50K truck = $50/week). Non-Trucking/Bobtail Insurance available at $9/week

New Recruits

Sign-On Bonus — $1,500: Take your 1st load within 72 hours of orientation AND complete 25 loads in the first 30 days

Clean Level 1 DOT Inspection — $500

Clean Level 2 DOT Inspection — $300

Clean Level 3 DOT Inspection — $150

Current Drivers

Referral Bonus — $1,500: Refer a new driver who takes their 1st load within 72 hrs of orientation and completes 25 loads in their first 30 days. You AND your referral both pocket $1,500

Quarterly Prize Drawing: Every qualified recruit you refer puts your name in the jar. More referrals = more entries. Winner drawn each quarter

Race to 30 Drivers: First driver to refer 3 qualified, leased-on recruits wins a brand-new set of steer tires

Quarterly Production Bonus: Top 3 revenue earners each quarter receive a percentage of their total quarterly revenue (less fuel) back as a cash bonus

Clean Level 1 DOT Inspection — $500

Clean Level 2 DOT Inspection — $300

Clean Level 3 DOT Inspection — $150

QUALIFICATIONS

All applicants must meet the following requirements:

Minimum 2 years of recent Class A CDL experience

Minimum 1 year of pneumatic trailer experience

Hands-on experience operating blowers and pneumatic systems

Clean driving record with strong PSP and DOT history

Clean roadside inspection history

Must be 25 years of age or older

Our operations span the state of Texas, with the highest lane concentration in the DFW Metroplex and the Austin, Houston, and San Antonio markets. Additional lanes serve North, West, and South Texas, with select operations extending into Louisiana and Oklahoma.

We offer opportunities for experienced Owner Operators with their own equipment, as well as driver to owner match opportunities for qualified drivers who are looking to partner with an established Owner Operator already in our fleet. We work closely with our owners to ensure their trucks stay running with steady, reliable loads and the right drivers behind the wheel.

We continue to invest in growth by securing new customer contracts and expanding lanes as we add trucks and drivers—creating ongoing opportunity across our operation.
