About the Role:

Join our passionate team at Loudoun Pediatric Dentistry as a Pediatric Dental Assistant! In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a positive dental experience for children, ensuring their comfort and care during visits.

Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.

Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment to maintain a safe environment.

Help manage patient flow and schedule appointments efficiently.

Educate children and parents on proper dental hygiene practices.

Take and develop dental X-rays as needed.

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Provide compassionate support to young patients to ease their anxiety.

Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; dental assistant certification preferred.

Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children effectively.

Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Flexibility to rotate between Leesburg and Ashburn office are required.

Knowledge of dental software and patient management systems.

Current X-ray, BLS/CPR certification are required.

Detail-oriented with a focus on patient comfort and safety.

Positive attitude and a passion for working with children.
