Production Operator

Job Description

Operate machines that manufacture cores for the foundry industry.

Set up machines according to method sheets, which includes installing and aligning blow plates and core boxes.

Clean machines and core boxes as needed and at the end of every day.

Perform finishing work, such as filing down and patching cores as needed. Follow packaging instructions on method sheets to prepare finished product for shipping.

Perform all duties at an acceptable rate.

Produce quality products according to customer specifications.

Accurately complete production sheets.

Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Job requires continuous standing, occasional lifting of over 50 lbs, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, squatting and reaching above the head. Must also be able to use a hammer and climb stairs.

Job requires use of PPE at all times.
