Your qualifications and background:

Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and experience interpreting in educational settings

Hold, or be eligible for, a Nebraska Sign Language Interpreter license (PROVISIONAL licensure accepted if EIPA score is below 4.0)

Experience or comfort working with preschool-age children

Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work cohesively within a classroom team

Dedicated professionalism, reliability, and the flexibility to adapt to classroom needs

What you'll be doing:

Providing direct sign language interpretation for a PreK student (or students) as part of a lively classroom

Supporting instructional activities to ensure clear communication between teachers, students, and peers

Collaborating with educators and specialists to enhance the learning environment

Advocating for accessible, inclusive education throughout the school day

Maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards in all interpreting assignments
