A Day in Your Life at MKS Atotech Minsk
As an intern SW Engineer at MKS Atotech Minsk, you will be part of our backend software development team.
You will be working on existing systems, developing and testing backend components, and supporting ongoing software improvements. To ensure success in this role, you should have a solid understanding of programming fundamentals, a logical mindset, and a strong willingness to learn. As a motivated SW Engineer intern, you will contribute to building reliable and maintainable backend solutions.
You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work in an Agile team to design, build, and improve backend services that support the company’s vision and strategy.
You Will Make an Impact by
• Developing backend components using Golang and C++
• Working with and enhancing existing codebases
• Writing and maintaining unit tests
• Using Git for version control and collaborating through code reviews
• Working in a Linux-based development environment
• Software troubleshooting and bug fixing
• Documenting development processes
Skills You Bring
• Basic programming skills in Golang
• Basic programming skills in C++
• Understanding of core OOP principles
• Ability to work with Git version control system
• Basic knowledge of Linux (command line usage, understanding of the file system)
• Understanding of unit testing principles
• Willingness to learn and grow in backend development
• Ability to understand and work with existing code
• Responsible approach to tasks and meeting deadlines
• English B1 or higher
Nice to Have
• General understanding of microservices architecture
• Basic knowledge of Kubernetes
• Understanding of REST API and gRPC principles
• Experience with or general knowledge of Helm
• Basic experience with GitLab (repositories, CI/CD)
• Basic knowledge of SQL
• Familiarity with the MQTT protocol
• Ability to work with AI agents
