Role Description
The Utility Worker is responsible for assembling metal or plastic components either at a workstation or on the production floor. This role requires flexibility, as employees may be reassigned to different departments, tasks, or shifts based on production demands. The position involves operating basic machinery, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring a safe and clean work environment while collaborating effectively with team members and supervisors.
Qualifications
Prior manufacturing experience preferred
3â 6 months of related experience and/or training preferred
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and management
Ability to follow instructions and adhere to company policies and procedures
Experience using hand tools and operating basic machinery such as drill presses, punch presses, or riveting machines preferred
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds frequently
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and use hands for extended periods
Willingness to work overtime as required
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance
