Position Summary
The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides direct care and community-based support services to individuals receiving CLS, CAG, CAI, and other Medicaid waiver services. DSPs assist individuals with daily living skills, community participation, safety supervision, and person-centered goals.
Schedule
Part-Time Position
Approximately 5 hours per day
Flexible weekday and/or weekend scheduling available
Responsibilities
Assist individuals with daily living activities
Support community outings and participation
Encourage independence and skill development
Document services accurately in Therap and/or EVV systems
Follow ISP goals and agency care plans
Maintain client dignity, privacy, and safety
Report incidents or concerns immediately
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
Reliable transportation
Valid Driver’s License preferred
Ability to pass background check
CPR/First Aid certification preferred
Good communication and documentation skills
