Trycewell Partners is excited to be recruiting for a Recruitment Manager on behalf of a leading Western Canadian Industrial services and Construction organization supporting major energy and infrastructure projects across Canada.
This is an opportunity for a strong recruitment leader to step into a high impact role overseeing corporate and indirect recruitment operations within a fast paced and evolving environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in recruitment strategy, team leadership, stakeholder engagement, workforce planning, and hands on recruitment execution while partnering closely with executive leadership.
This position is ideally suited for someone who thrives in high volume recruitment environments, enjoys leading teams, and has strong experience managing full cycle recruitment operations across corporate and operational support functions.
Responsibilities
Lead and support a recruitment team while driving performance, accountability, mentorship, and continuous improvement initiatives
Oversee full cycle recruitment activities across corporate and salaried positions including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding coordination
Develop and implement recruitment strategies, talent attraction initiatives, and workforce planning activities aligned with operational and business goals
Partner closely with department leaders, hiring managers, and executive leadership to understand hiring needs and provide recruitment guidance and market intelligence
Lead intake meetings, hiring discussions, and recruitment strategy reviews with internal stakeholders
Support difficult to fill and high priority recruitment initiatives through direct sourcing and hands on recruitment efforts
Drive employer branding, recruitment marketing, referral programs, networking initiatives, and candidate attraction campaigns
Monitor recruitment metrics including time to hire, source effectiveness, recruitment performance, and market trends
Ensure recruitment processes remain compliant with applicable legislation, company policies, and best practices
Assist with recruitment reporting, ATS utilization, recruitment process improvements, and overall candidate experience initiatives
Represent the organization at networking events, career fairs, and industry related functions as required
Qualifications
5+ years of progressive full cycle recruitment experience within industrial, construction, energy, engineering, or high volume corporate environments
Previous leadership experience managing and mentoring recruitment teams
Strong understanding of recruitment strategy, sourcing methodologies, talent attraction, employer branding, and workforce planning
Experience presenting recruitment strategies and hiring updates to senior leadership and executive teams
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and relationship building skills
Ability to operate effectively in fast paced environments with shifting priorities and changing operational demands
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple recruitment priorities simultaneously
Proficiency with ATS platforms, CRM systems, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and recruitment technologies
Diploma or education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline preferred
RPR designation required, with CPHR considered an asset
Previous experience within industrial services, construction, energy, or midstream environments considered a strong asset
Vehicle required for networking events, recruitment initiatives, and industry related activities
