Job Description
Our client is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead the Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance, and Tooling functions to ensure safe, reliable, and cost effective production operations. This role owns process performance, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives while supporting plant goals across safety, quality, delivery, and cost. This is an on site leadership role reporting directly to plant leadership.

Responsibilities:
Lean & TPM: Implement Lean, TPM, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Tooling & Die Oversight: Manage tooling design, fabrication, repair, and continuous improvement.
Root Cause & Quality: Drive structured problem solving to ensure process capability and product quality.
Cross Functional Collaboration: Partner with Production, Quality, and Supply Chain to support plant objectives.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards, including LOTO and machine guarding.
Process Ownership: Own manufacturing processes including design, optimization, documentation, and ongoing performance.
Maintenance Strategy: Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime.
KPI & Budget Management: Manage engineering, maintenance, and tooling budgets; track OEE, downtime, and project execution.
Capital Project Management: Lead projects including new product introductions, automation, equipment installations, and capacity expansions.
Manufacturing Engineering Leadership: Lead and develop Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance, and Tooling teams with clear expectations and accountability.
Qualifications (Must-Haves)
Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
Working knowledge of Lean, CI, and TPM methodologies.
Proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and ERP systems.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem solving skills.
Experience with process design, maintenance strategy, and capital projects.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems, equipment, and process optimization.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Hands on experience with process design, equipment/maintenance oversight, and capital project execution.
7–10 years of manufacturing engineering experience, including 3–5 years in a leadership role with direct reports.
