Job Summary:
The Data Entry Specialist is responsible for entering client records and
maintaining the Family Source Center client database(s) that contains client information.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Input data from a variety of approved paper-based source documents, such as intake forms
· Responsible for entering client information such as demographic info, services, program enrollment and other client FSC services
· Responsible for learning and using all data coding formats
· Responsible for maintaining database and ensuring the integrity of database information
· Responsible for performing periodic queries to check for record duplication
· Produces query reports as directed by management
· Creating files, scanning and making copies, as is related to the database
· Assists with general office duties as assigned
· Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
The Data Entry Specialist must have at least a high school diploma and basic typing skills, with one or two years of data entry experience preferred. The Data Entry Specialist must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as database operational and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Must have the ability to think independently, interpret source documents and to solve practical problems that arise with interpretation. Must be detail-oriented and accurate.
Salary Range: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
