Job Description
As a Registered Nurse in a hospital setting, you will provide essential patient care as part of a dedicated nursing team. You will manage a moderate patient load, ensuring each individual receives attentive and compassionate support across day and night shifts. Your role is pivotal in monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, planning care, and educating patients to promote recovery and well-being.
Per Diem Shifts - Days and Nights
Units: Med Surg, Tele, ER, ICU
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a hospital environment
Administer medications accurately and safely
Monitor vital signs and assess patient status regularly
Develop and implement individualized care plans
Educate patients and families on health maintenance and treatment plans
Document all care activities and patient data thoroughly
Respond promptly to emergencies and urgent situations
Collaborate effectively with nursing team members and other healthcare professionals
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in specified Unit (doesn't include floating)
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Strong patient assessment skills
Experience using Electronic Health Records (EHR)
Proficient in medication administration
Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities
Compassionate approach to patient care
