Job Description
A Lead Generation Specialist is a sales/marketing professional responsible for identifying, qualifying, and cultivating prospective customers to build a robust sales pipeline. They conduct research, perform cold outreach (calls/emails), and manage CRM data to transition leads into qualified opportunities for account executives.
Key Responsibilities
Prospecting & Research: Identify potential clients using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, databases, and social media, targeting accounts that match the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
Outreach & Engagement: Conduct high-volume, personalized outreach via cold calling, email campaigns, and social media messaging to generate interest.
Qualification: Evaluate prospects based on interest, budget, and need to determine if they are qualified for a sales meeting.
CRM & Data Management: Maintain accurate records in a CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), tracking interactions and updating lead contact information.
Campaign Collaboration: Work with marketing teams to refine messaging, analyze campaign performance, and improve outreach strategies.
Appointment Setting: Hand off qualified, "hot" leads to Sales Managers or Account Executives for final closing
