Job Summary The Radiology Technologist with Ultrasound experience will perform both general diagnostic X-ray and ultrasound exams, including OB/GYN, abdominal, small parts, and vascular studies.
This is a dual-modality role requiring flexibility, independence, and strong clinical imaging expertise.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform general radiology (X-ray) examsPerform ultrasound exams including:Abdomen Small Parts OB/GYN Vascular (RVT level preferred) Support diagnostic imaging workflow in a multi-modality environment Ensure high-quality imaging using GE Optima / GE Logiq 10 systems Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout exams Work independently with minimal supervision Participate in call rotation (1 night/week + occasional weekends) Document procedures in EMR (Cerner / Community Works) and PACS (NovaPacs) Required QualificationsMinimum 2 years of imaging experience required Must be ARDMS certified in: Abdomen (AB) OB/GYN Vascular (RVT) Must be proficient in general radiology + ultrasound Active state license required Ability to work independently in a rural hospital setting Preferred SkillsEcho experience (nice to have) Strong OB/GYN ultrasound background Experience in rural / critical access hospitals Comfort working cross-modality (XR + US) Schedule4–5 days per week Day shift schedule 1 night/week call (Radiology/Ultrasound) Occasional weekend call (approx.
