This full-time opportunity involves up to 35 hours per week, beginning mid-August 2026 and concluding early June 2027.
You’ll have the chance to work with either junior high (7th–8th grade) or elementary (K–4) students, depending on program needs.
Key Qualifications:Valid school psychologist credentials required In-depth knowledge of IDEA and Illinois special education laws and regulations Proficiency in MTSS processes and interventions Demonstrated experience managing special education evaluation timelines and tracking progress Skilled in facilitating domain meetings, Eligibility Determination Conferences (EDCs), and Annual Reviews (ARs) efficiently Expertise with IEP, 504, Due Process, and MTSS documentation Assessment familiarity with Q-global and FastBridge platforms Strong command of Google Docs for reporting and collaboration Prior experience with Manifestation Determinations preferred Core Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to support special education referrals Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs and 504 plans Guide and execute MTSS practices within the assigned program or building Effectively schedule, organize, and facilitate the entire evaluation and review process for students Serve as a resource for staff, students, and families regarding mental health and educational supports Maintain accurate and timely documentation using prescribed assessment and data systems This position promises meaningful engagement with students, faculty, and families—creating a truly rewarding professional experience for the upcoming school year.
