Our company is seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional for the position of Project Manager – Marine & Port Construction to lead and manage marine infrastructure projects from planning through completion.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget while maintaining compliance with all applicable engineering and regulatory standards.
Position Requirements:
Licensed Civil Engineer
Minimum of 10 years of construction experience
At least 3 years of proven experience as Project Manager for marine and port construction projects
Strong technical background in:
Pile driving works
Quay wall construction
Pier and marine foundation systems
Revetment and coastal protection works
Extensive knowledge of applicable government and regulatory requirements, including:
Philippine Ports Authority (PPA)
DENR regulations
Local Government Unit (LGU) permitting processes
Demonstrated expertise in:
Project planning and scheduling
Cost control and budgeting
Contract administration
Construction management and coordination
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee daily construction site operations
Ensure timely completion of projects within approved budget and quality standards
Monitor project schedules, manpower, equipment, and material utilization
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and project stakeholders
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
Supervise procurement activities and contract implementation
Prepare and present project progress reports and status updates
Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation measures
Preferred Qualifications
Experience handling large-scale marine or port infrastructure projects
Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent project management software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding construction environment
