We are seeking a litigation attorney with experience representing professional service organizations.
This attorney will play a critical role in managing cases from inception through resolution, including trial or appeal.
This includes drafting motions and taking depositions, while collaborating with partners and clients on case strategy and goals.
Key to this position is the ability to possess strong research, writing, and oral communication skills, and contribute to trial preparation and discovery.
The ideal candidate will have three to seven years of experience with a leading litigation firm.This is a full-time position.
Open to hybrid.Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), PTO, and performance-based bonuses.Compensation:$140,000 - $190,000 yearlyResponsibilities:Handling all aspects of complex litigation mattersDrafting and responding to correspondence, discovery, pleadings, and motions; taking and defending depositions; participating in hearings, arbitrations, and trialsPerforming legal research, drafting documents, keeping client files up to date, and moving forwardAnalyzing issues in legal matters, advising clients on solutions, and negotiating on behalf of clientsTimely delivery of work product, assignments, motions, etc.Qualifications:Skills Accountability - See it, own itProblem Solver - Ability to analyze legal issues with a solution-based mindsetTeamwork - is a team player who works well with support staff and fellow attorneys.Excellent analytical, organizational, prioritization, and time management skills, along with the ability to work under tight deadlines and execute efficiently against multiple, high-priority projectsExcellent legal writing skills; ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.Strong legal research skills in complex procedural and substantive matters.Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints.
