Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Superintendent will provide operational leadership across production, maintenance, safety, quality, and people management. This role is a key succession pipeline for future Plant Manager responsibilities.

Responsibilities:
1. Operations & Efficiency
Drive operational excellence in daily plant activities.
Monitor production, downtime, and maintenance data to identify improvement opportunities.
Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
2. People & Leadership
Lead and support supervisors, foremen, and middle-level managers.
Promote accountability, integrity, and a disciplined workforce culture.
Develop leadership capacity as part of succession planning for future Plant Manager roles.
3. Strategy, Safety & Quality
Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and quality management systems.
Support strategic planning and long-term operational development.
Implement and sustain ISO/QMS methodologies and safety leadership practices.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Production, or Manufacturing) or related field.
7 10 years' experience in manufacturing, processing, or industrial operations.
Exposure to explosives, mining, chemical, or heavy industry is an advantage.
